Blog Post Number Uno.

Duck Islands. Moats. Fake Mortgages. Yes, they are a bit shocking and amusing, and demonstrate how far up their collective arses some government members are. But the situation is so seriously overblown and is being used as a ridiculous opportunity for massive populist cunts like this to win more votes. It's fucking galling.

Quoting oneself is pretty cuntish, but I am lazy and a cunt, so there:
Polly Toynbee was saying this week (and I generally like reading her comment pieces) how the expenses row is the "last straw" for the Brown gov't, which is, imo, a horribly immature thing to say. Mistakes that are much more important in the grand scheme of things have been made but at the same time have been largely ignored (the testimony of Craig Murray on the UK Gov't's role in torture in Uzbekistan, for example).

When you see the Guardian running the above-linked piece by a Conservative politician who has absolutely no fucking purchase in the moral side of things, well, that's fucking shit. Running pieces like this allows these cunts to divert attention from actual issues - financial market regulation, the debate over proportional representation, etc. by sacking a few old, useless MPs.

Stick your Progressive Conservatism up your hole*.

*I realize that I am not entitled to complain about this at all, since this is not my country, but fuck it.
